She is survived by her daughter, Susan Ward of Beaverton, OR; son, John Terrell Brodnax and wife Wanda of Monroe, LA ; brother, Walter Jacob, Jr. and wife Bobbie June of Bastrop, LA; three grandchildren, John Terrell Brodnax, Jr., Carrie Gulio, and Jake Ward; three great grandchildren and long time companion Vernon Stevenson of Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Elkins is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Louis Brodnax and Robert Elkins; three sisters, Margaret Myers, Irma Pullin, Alma Dollar and grandson Bo Fisher.
