Nellie M. Ward; of Chattanooga, died Sunday evening, February 4, 2007 at Stratford House, after a lengthy illness. Born in Caryville, TN, May 13, 1910, she was a longtime Chattanooga resident. On November 12, 1932, she was united in marriage with Howard Ward and to this union were born five children. Having been preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one son, Ralph; she is survived by two sons, Clarence and Ray Ward; two daughters, Mae Swan and Marie Dye, all of Chattanooga; brother, Troy Money, of Dayton, OH; sister, Whitney Hale, of Atlanta; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends.
