Nellie Mae Armstrong, 85, of 7358 Main Street, Wade, NC, died Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Carolina Rehabilitation Center in Fayetteville.
She was the daughter of the late Purvis and Sarah Elliott Williams and the widow of the late Jackson Armstrong. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Curtis and Peggy Dolford of Washington, DC, Marie Munn of Wade and Elizabeth Young of District Heights, MD. Sons, Melvin Armstrong of Washington, DC, Larry Armstrong of Wade and Edward Armstrong of Clarksville, TN. Sisters, Mildred Murphy of Godwin and Dorothy Harris of Philadelphia, PA. Nine grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren also survive.
