Nedra L. Boyd, 80, of Anderson, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 3, 2013 at St. Vincent’s Anderson Regional Hospital, Anderson. She was born on May 9, 1932 in Anderson where she had lived her entire life. She graduated from Anderson High School in 1950.
Nedra had worked as a Telecommunications Operator for St. Vincent’s Anderson Regional Hospital retiring in 1997 after 24 years of service. She is survived by her son, Trent Boyd of Anderson, and her daughter, Glennetta Boyd of Anderson; grandson, Jason Angie Boyd of Daleville; great-grandchildren, Erika Boyd, Daleville; and Sabrina Boyd, Daleville; special friend, Donald Hensley, Anderson.
Nedra was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching game shows. She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil & Lela Baker Harris; brothers, Richard & David Harris.
