Nazaire Beauvais, beloved son of Evert Beauvais and Anita Pierre, was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti where he spent all his early days until 1982, when he immigrated to the United States. He attended school at Lycée Toussaint Louverture until his first bachelor. He graduated from Georges Marc College with his second bachelor. He pursued his engineering education at Leconte school of Engineering where he obtained his degree in Civil Engineering and design. He later attended First school in Haiti and successfully achieved a degree in Business Finance and Accounting.
Upon his entry in the United States, he started employment as a design controller at Dynaflair Corporation specialized in design, engineering, and manufacturing. When the company moved to Tampa, he opted for the career of Nursing and obtained an ADN degree in Nursing from Union County College. He was a brilliant and dedicated nurse for 17 years at Bloomingdale Care. He was the CEO and sole owner of NABO TAX.
As a young man Nazaire was very cheerful, loving and a people person. He excelled in soccer and made the international Haitian team ‘Bacardi”, as a very valuable player in defense, which enhanced his travel experiences and his taste for different cultures. He was committed to build a very successful future for himself and his mother with whom she lived until he met the love of his life, Monette in 1993. They tied the knots in 1995 in a civil commitment. In 2011, they officially had a church celebration of their marriage. They conceived only one son Nathan, in 2000, who is the best gift to the couple and the cornerstone of their relationship. Nathan became very instrumental in the care of his father for the past two years. Nazaire devoted all his life to his wife and son with love, respect, and compassion.
Nazaire gave his life to God thirty-one years ago. He used his love for music to serve God at many different churches in New Jersey, Connecticut, and New York. He is a gifted professional guitar, bass, and piano player. He never stopped praising God with his own beats and tunes from les “Chants d’Esperance’ and others.
He endured his illness with grace, faith and determination. His focus was on healing while he was bargaining for more time with his family. He went stoically through many different treatments and hospitalizations. His sufferings became unbearable for him and heartbroken for his wife and son. Although, he has a very meaningful and exemplary relationship with Nathan before; this past year has reinforced their bonds unmeasurably. His son showed an unremarkable maturity caring for his father and taking charge over the new role that his father proudly delegated to him. His wife, Monette, in turn, took an indefinite period off her job to care for” Zazou “as she affectionately called him for 27 years.
Nazaire left his wife Monette, his son Nathan, his siblings, his friends, and all others affected by his transition a legacy of love and unrelentless service to God with an unbreakable faith. He has fought a long battle with cancer. On September 11, 22 he has listened to the sound of the trumpet and was peacefully taken through the light by the cherubins who whispered to his ears: “Wake up, sleeper. Rise from the dead. And Christ will shine on you” Ephesians 4:14.
