Nathan was Born July 2, 1973, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the third child of five and oldest son of Walter Eugene and Louise Welker Peck.

Family life was active and full of footloose fun, adventure, and love.

He married Heather Reckling, his Florence Nightingale, in November of 1998, in the Manti Utah Temple. They later divorced. They were blessed with four beautiful children, Elizabeth, AnneLisa, Caeson, and Hailey. He loved his children and viewed them as precious gifts and he deeply mourned any harm he caused them. While he was separated from them in life, he is now free to be with them and help them in their life’s journey and to someday be reunited in Heaven under the ever-forgiving eye of a loving Savior.

Nathan is survived by his loving parents, Walter and Louise Peck of Colbert, WA; his sisters, Amy Policky (Don) of Rapid City, SD, and Debbie Schupp (Matt) of Colbert, WA; brothers, Jared Peck (Brenda) of Puyallup, WA, and Stephan Peck (April) of Issaquah, WA; a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; and his beloved children, Elizabeth, Annie, Caeson and Hailey.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Anna Peck of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Gerald and Georgina Welker of Fort Collins, Colorado.

The lost time we may have spent with him is poignant and painful, but our faith is ever strong in the assurance that we may be together again as an eternal family. Nathan’s last message was one of appreciation for the love and support of his family during the long trials of his life. We will always remember your big smile and great bear hugs and kind eyes. You are finally free.
