Natanis “Nate” Akela Chapman Jr., 39, of Nutter Fort passed away at his residence on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. He was born in Clarksburg on July 20, 1983, the son of Natanis Akela Chapman Sr. and Rebecca Elaine (Barker) Chapman of Wallace.
Nate graduated from Liberty High School, Class of 2001. He graduated from Salem International University in 2005 with a degree in network engineering. Nate was employed by the FBI as a Computer Specialist for over fifteen years. He loved computers, gaming, and riding his motorcycle and RZR.
In addition to his parents, Nate is survived by a sister, Amberle McWatters and husband Matthew, Clarksburg; one brother, Troy Chapman and wife Robin, Clarksburg; six nieces and nephews, Kaelyn, Madison, Autumn, Connor, Ryker, and Tucker; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
