Mrs. Natalie T. (Nanni) Higgins, 77 of Bethel, CT passed away suddenly at her home on Friday, March 3 2017. She was the loving wife for 44 years of the late Patrick B. Higgins who passed away in 2005. Natalie was born in Winsted on December 5, 1938; the daughter of the late Waldo and Theresa (Marolda) Nanni. She was raised in Winsted and lived there most of her life before moving to Naples, FL in 1990. Before her retirement for many years, she was the co-owner of Higgins Grocery and Deli in Winsted. Natalie loved painting, shopping, dining out, watching classic film dramas and spending time with her family. She leaves two sons, Patrick D. Higgins and his wife Tammy of Bethel, and their children Patrick James, Katlyn, and her fiancé James Wilson and Michael S. Higgins and his wife Tina and son Jack of New York, NY. She is also survived by her sister, Mrs. Shirley Guerard and her husband Noel of Torrington; her brother-in-law, Mr. Joseph A. Cannavo of Winsted; as well as multiple beloved nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Natalie was predeceased by her sister, Mrs. Emily Cannavo and her brother, Mr. Alesio “Sonny” Nanni.
