Natale Sposato, age 83, of Norwalk died peacefully at Norwalk Hospital on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Elena Cappello Sposato. Born in Valonecupo, Acri, Cosenza, Italy on December 3, 1927, Natale was the son of the late Angelo and Caterina Bifano Sposato. He was a former resident of Argentina and has lived in the U.S. for the past 35 years. Natale was retired from Howe Furniture where he had worked for 18 years, enjoyed working in his garden and grilling a good meal.
In addition to his wife Elena, Natale is survived by his son, Angelo N. Sposato and his wife Carolina of Bethel, his daughter Maria Teresa Mossa and her husband John G. Mossa, Jr. of Stamford, his grandchildren Angelica Sposato of Norwalk, GianCarlo Sposato and Gianpiero Natale Sposato of Bethel, MariaGabriela Mossa, Daniella N. Mossa, and John G. Mossa III, all of Stamford. One of 6 children, he is also survived by his sisters Maria Sposato-Serra and Antonietta Sposato Rosa, both of Italy, 2 brothers-in law, Angelo and Pepino Cappello, sister-in-law Rosa Coppola and many nieces and nephews that are spread throughout the USA, Italy, Argentina, Spain and Brazil. Natale was also predeceased by his brothers Salvatore and Francesco Sposato, and his sister Rosina Sposato Mastroianni.
