Naomi R. Cyphers, 76, of Bethlehem, went home to her Lord on Sunday, October 26, 2014, while in the care of Manor Care of Bethlehem. She was the devoted wife of C. Edward Cyphers. They celebrated 56 years of marriage in September. Born in Bath, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Harriet (Dettmer) Butz. She was a 1956 graduate of Northampton High School. Naomi worked for Jackie and Richard Herzon at home and at Herzon & Son. She enjoyed sewing for her family and friends. She was an active member of 1st Church of the Nazarene of Bethlehem, where she was a Nursery Supervisor for 17 years. Survivors: with her loving husband, Ed are her daughters, Karen Long and her husband Nelson of Bethlehem; Donna Wilson and her husband Charles of Prickerington, Ohio; a son, Dean E. Cyphers and his wife Natalie of Bath; sisters, Harriet Wehr and her husband Donald of Northampton, Viola Wesner of Bath, brothers, Daniel Butz, and his wife Mary of Madison, WI and Earl Butz, and his wife Linda of Raleigh, NC; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
