Nancy Lucero Holguin, 75 of Silver City, passed away on August 14, 2017, at her home. Nancy was born October 29, 1941, in Santa Rita, NM to Jesus and Felicita Lucero. Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be missed dearly.
Nancy is survived by one son, Jose Holguin of Silver City; one daughter, Rosa Holguin of Silver City; one sister, Rosa Ramirez of Santa Clara; seven grandchildren, Daniel Chavez (Tiffany Cuellar); Nicolas Holguin, Anthony Marquez, Joseph Abeyta (Mercedes Peru); Araselly Abeyta, Chevo Abeyta (Ashlyn); and Leticia Holguin.
Also, surviving Nancy are four great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Magdalena, Jada, and Cody Abeyta.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Felicita; a son, Robert (Bobby) Holguin; a brother, Jesus Lucero and three sisters, Carolina Rodriguez, Mary Baca, and Beatrice Ramirez.
