Nancy Hawn, 66, of Spirit Lake passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake. Nancy was born on December 21, 1954, in Denver, Colorado to George and Mary (Elsenbast) Buckingham. She graduated from Spirit Lake High School. She attended Patricia Stevens Business Institute in Minneapolis, MN. She was united in marriage to Jeff Hawn on May 19, 1979, in Spirit Lake. Nancy worked in retail owning and operating a clothing store in Okoboji with her brother David. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, boating, attending lake activities and was a big animal lover. She is survived by her husband Jeff Hawn of Spirit Lake; sons Tyler (Karisa) Hawn of Spirit Lake and Clay Hawn of Spirit Lake; sisters Susan (Keith) Kellen of Milford and Julie Davis of Spirit Lake; and a brother David (Christine) Buckingham of Lake Park. She was preceded in death by her parents.
