Nancy E. (Brooks) Nead, 80, of South Windsor, formerly of Manchester, loving wife of 58 years to Wilbert “Gene” Nead, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2016 surrounded by her children at Crestfield Rehabilitation Center. Nancy, originally from Altoona, PA, graduated from Altoona High School and the Altoona Hospital School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse for over 40 years most recently working at Bidwell Healthcare Center in Manchester until retiring in 1998.
