Nancy C. Harney, 60, of Hanover Twp., entered the nearer presence of her Lord on Thursday, November 14, 2013, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She and her husband, Richard E. “Rich” Harney, shared 37 years of marriage in May. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Ethel (Graver) Jones of Nazareth and the late Robert Jones. Nancy was a graduate of Northampton High School and Moravian College. She worked for the First National Bank of Bath and at Southmoore Golf Course. Nancy was a member of College Hill Moravian Church in Bethlehem, where she served as Treasurer, Sacristan, Sunday School Co-Superintendant and played on the Handbell Choir. Nancy also served on the ShareCare Board, as Treasurer of Nepali Moravian Outreach and was a Boy Scouts of America Mom with two Eagle Scouts. Survivors: in addition to her husband and mother are sons, Scott M. Harney, his wife, Jodie and their son, Benjamin and Kevin N. Harney and his wife, Rebecca, all of Hanover Twp. and two nieces. Nancy was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Fishman.
