Nancy Mae Blagg, born to Mable and Milton Losee in Kansas City, MO on 6 July 1929, died at her home in Santa Fe, NM on 27 August 2018.

Nancy was told that she would never walk again after being diagnosed with polio at 25. Ruggedly independent, ever-positive, and self-reliant (epitomizing the spirit of the American West that she loved), Nancy willed herself to her feet and walked unassisted for the next sixty years. She proudly served as a legal secretary to multiple justices of the New Mexico Supreme Court, including Chief Justice Ransom. In her free time, she could be found tending her flower gardens.

Nancy is remembered for her warmth and loving kindness by her husband of 45 years, Robert Blagg, daughter, Catherine, son-in-law, Robert, niece, Susan, step children, Robin, Wendy, David, and Becky, and grandchildren, Max and Eva, who knew her affectionately as “Neena.”
