After graduating Towson High School in Baltimore, Nancy attended Westminster College in Pennsylvania, where she was an Art Major. She also loved being part of Chi Omega Sorority!

In 1964, Nancy and her husband, Jordan met in Ocean City, Maryland, knew each other for four days, got engaged and married on the seventh day! They were married for 57 years.

Jordan served our country for 12 years in the Air Force. After marrying, Nancy thought she would “see the world” being a military wife! She would always joke about how she got to see and live in Minot, North Dakota and Great Falls, Montana (Malmstrom Air Force Base)! Nancy loved and was honored to be a military wife! Jordan served as a Captain and a Missile Launch Control Officer, as part of the Minute Man Missile Program. After serving, Jordan retired as a Captain and he and Nancy moved to Colorado.

Colorado became their forever home. Nancy and Jordan owned and operated their own successful tax and accounting practice for 49 years, which included their son Don. Jordan and Nancy were part of Melaleuca and later joined daughter Heather with The Juice Plus Company. Nancy was successful and loved working from home, raising her kids and really knew first-hand that hard work pays off! She was a great entrepreneur…self motivated and committed to success.

Nancy’s love for art was transparent in her own artwork through drawings, paintings, sculptures, and even coloring! She found art and beauty in everything, especially in nature.

As far as hobbies, Nancy loved to shop, read, craft, macrame, do puzzles and sew! For years, she and Jordan enjoyed trap shooting competitively and earned many trophies together.

Nancy was also a HUGE Denver Broncos fan and season ticket holder. She enjoyed hosting many Broncos parties over the years! She was all about supporting the home teams and loved watching the Colorado Rockies and Avalanche too.

One of her favorite things to do was accompany Jordan, reading a good book, while Jordan would fly fish. She loved hanging out on a peaceful sunny day at the river, in nature…and take in all the beauty. Nancy learned to snow ski with Jordan after moving to Colorado. Skiing became a fun family outing!

Nancy’s love for animals was apparent. She owned several dogs throughout her lifetime and really became quite fond of golden retrievers. She even took in a stray cat and owned several as the years went on. She also had a huge love for dolphins!

Nancy also shared a passion for music with Jordan. They had so much fun over the years attending operas with family and friends at The Central City Opera House and Broadway Musicals at The Buell Theatre in Denver. Their daughter Heather, was named after the song “the Heather on the Hill” from the musical Brigadoon. Nancy enjoyed listening to a variety of music genres from classical and opera/arias to country and pop.

Nancy made friends wherever she went, adults and kids alike! Known for being personable, greeting people with a big warm smile, and always reliable. When Heather and Don were in High School, all of their friends loved hanging out at their house because they loved Nancy and Jordan so much. Always welcoming and a safe place to be!

In April of 2021, Nancy’s husband passed away. After assisted living didn’t work out, son Don brought Nancy home and became her primary caretaker over the last nine months. He made sure that she didn’t miss any Valor Football games so that she could watch her grandsons play. There was never a dull moment living with Donny and Derek and she was so happy.

Nancy and Jordan are now reunited together for eternity with our Heavenly Father.

Nancy is survived by son Don (partner Derek), and Daughter Heather (husband Chris); along with her grandchildren Madison, Colton, and Braydon… Oh! And in her words, “Granddog” Mojo.

Rest in peace… loyal wife, wonderful mother, loving grandmother (Nana), and committed friend.

“Mothers hold their children’s hands for a while, but their hearts forever.”

Truly blessed. Eternally grateful… Always loved. Never Forgotten. Forever Missed.

We will continue to live your “Loving Legacy”.
