Myrtle Miyono Rhodes (Toto), 80, of Marietta, GA passed away on October 13, 2022, in Marietta, GA.
Myrtle was born in Honolulu, Hawaii to Harriet AhLan (Pestano) and Harold Toto. She attended Hawaiian Mission Academy (Hawaii) and graduated from Golden Gate Academy (California) in 1960.
She went on to earn an associate degree from Pacific Union College. She worked as a Secretary for the Northern California Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists, Central California Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists, Interlink Computer Sciences, Evergreen Valley College, and the Milpitas Adventist Center. She enjoyed crafting, entertaining numerous friends and family, and anything Hawaiian.
Myrtle is survived by her husband, James C. Rhodes of Marietta, GA, her son Jay Rhodes (Sharon) of Columbia, TN, her daughter Jadelyn Alvarez (Hector) of Folsom, CA, her brothers John K. AhLan Jr. (Merilee) of Oakley, Ca, and Douglas Toto of Golden Valley, AZ, her grandchildren BJ (Tiffany) of Marietta, GA, Teri Ann (Garrett) of Yulee, FL, Austin of Folsom, CA, Ciara of Folsom, CA Jake (Lindsay) of Franklin, TN, Kyle of Columbia, TN, and Great-Grandkids Jordan, Serenity (Marietta, GA) and Nico (Franklin, TN).
Our family wishes to extend our gratitude to all of Myrtle’s Family and Friends for loving her over the years. She was a special person with a personality of a spark plug. She enjoyed life, her family, and her many friends. She will be truly missed.
