Myrtle LaFawn Wheless Halverson, 92, passed away Friday at Wayne U.N.C. Hospital. She was born in Faison to the late Nellie Armstrong Wheless, and was the widow of the late Arlan Ole Halverson.
Mrs. Halverson is survived by her son, Gary Mark Halverson; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Steve Arlan Halverson.
