Myrtle Anderson Van Sickle, 93, of 406 Rives Road, Martinsville, VA died Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville/Henry County. She was born on October 14, 1918 in Greenbush, Minnesota to the late John L. Anderson and Annie Louse Larson Anderson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willard E. Van Sickle and son, Loren William Van Sickle. Mrs. Van Sickle was a member of Clearview Wesleyan Church, Martinsville, VA where she was both Sunday School Teacher of the year and Supervisor of the Year. Surviving are her brother, Chester Anderson of Minnesota; grandchildren, Shawn Van Sickle and fiancée, Jessica Graham, Christopher Van Sickle and his wife, Trisha and Jennifer Van Sickle and great-grandchildren, Kylee Van Sickle, Quintin Van Sickle, Lucy Van Sickle and Jaxon Van Sickle.
