Myron George Posivak Jr., 43, resident of Gilbert, Az. passed away on July 4, 2015.
Myron was born in Detroit, Michigan and resided in Union Lake, Michigan until his family moved to Arizona in 1986. Myron is survived by his parents Kathleen Wright and Myron Posivak Sr., his wife Laura Brady-Posivak, his brother Alex, son Tyler, in addition to numerous cousins.
Myron found the love of his life in October 2010 then married Laura Brady on May 15, 2015.
Myron and Laura recently each fulfilled their life-long dream of owning their own graphic design business which they titled “Sure Shot Grafixs.”
Myron loved helping others in need so he did extensive volunteer work with Buckeye Rescue and Sheriff’s Office in Buckeye, Az. He began his primary career with Boeing in 1996 up to the present as an aircraft mechanic which he performed with great pride and loyalty. Myron was a true patriot and wanted to do his part in building the world’s finest aircraft for our troops all over the world. Thousands of soldiers and their families relied heavily on Myron’s sterling skills and keen eye for the past 19 years.
Myron loved sports while especially fond of the game of hockey. He was a long-time coach while also assisting youth in other sports as well. Myron loved to watch his son play and he never missed a single game or practice. He was very proud of his son, Tyler.
Myron was also an adrenaline junkie and loved the fast lane. He raced ATV’s for 5 years and also raced motorcycles beginning in 1999. Myron also accepted a supervisory position with AZ Track Days events for about 10 years. He was always the first responder to any accident because Myron deeply cared about each and every rider on the track.
Myron loved to hunt, cook, and grill for his family and friends. More than anything he was a family man and just loved to spend time with his devoted family regardless of the activity or the occasion.
In conclusion, it must be noted that Myron gave his life while saving another during a tragic boating accident on Independence Day. Therefore he died a true hero and will always be remembered for his unselfish heroic deed during his final day on Earth.
