Myrna Diane Lemon, age 71, of Three Oaks, died peacefully, early Tuesday morning, August 30, 2016 at home in the peace and comfort of her family’s presence.She was born July 16, 1945 in Benton Harbor, Michigan to Russell and Neva Bell (Stanage) Payne. She married Joe Maxwell Lemon September 21, 1971 in Centreville, Michigan.
He survives. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Pamela Payne; and one brother Russell “Fuzzy” Payne. Mryna was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Chikaming. She loved the Lord. Mryna’s family remember her for the way she gave her heart to them. She loved spending time with her family, especially grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She loved music, especially when her son was playing it. Myrna will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her husband of almost forty two years, Joe Lemon of Three Oaks; their son and daughter in law, Robert and Brandy Lemon of Three Oaks; four grandchildren, Ryan Adams of Three Oaks, Shane (Katherine) Boswell of LaPorte, Joshua Boswell of Three Oaks, Stephanie (Robert McGrath) Boswell-McGrath of Edmonton, Canada; three great grandchildren, Nevaeh Southard, Audrey Boswell, Wesley Boswell; two sisters, Connie Horton of Niles, Sondra Ferry of Galien; one brother, Darrell Dean Payne of Dowagiac; and one sister in law, Dolores “Doddie” Payne of Valparaiso.
