Myra L. (Ergenbright) Ross, the daughter of Edwin and Gladys (Smool) Ergenbright, was born August 5, 1944 in Newton, Iowa. She grew up in Newton graduating form Newton High School, in 1961.
On September 24, 1965, she was united in marriage with L. Owen Ross in Monroe, Iowa. They and three daughters. Myra was a homemaker, who loved her family and stayed home to take care of them.
Myra was preceded in death her parents. Those left to honor her memory are her husband, Owen of Newton; her three daughters and sons-in-law, Malissa and David Wilson of Newton; Nancy and William Straight of Newton and Billie Jo Ross of Newton; her six grandchildren, Tim and Shad Ford; Brandon and Jordan Wilson and Ashley and Alexis Straight all of Newton; her three step-grandchildren, Amy, Adam, and Aaron Straight all of Newton; her three brothers, Archie, Ed, and Terry Ergenbright all of Newton; her three sisters, Patty Hutchinson of Paducah, Kentucky; Billie Moomaw of Newton and Peggy Boyd of Lincoln, Nebraska and her nieces and nephews.
