Myra Carter Martin, 97 of 832 Mt. View Loop Road, Patrick Springs, died Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at the Landmark Center in Stuart. She was born to the late William Crawford Carter and Fannie Martin Carter on April 2, 1913 in Patrick County. She was married to the late Charlie L. Martin, Sr. She was also preceded in death by four brothers Troy, Taft, Kibler , Eldrin Carter and numerous half- brothers and half- sisters. She was a member of Providence United Methodist Church, Patrick Springs. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law; Sandra and Roberts Moore of Roanoke,Virginia, Judy and David Hester of Okeechobee Lake, Florida; Lane Hooker of Midlothian, Virginia. Two sons and daughter-in-law; Charlie Martin, Jr. of Patrick Springs and Alfred and Melissa Martin of Patrick Springs. 9 Grandchildren; Lisa DiMona, Amy Slate, Gretchen Robertson, Brad Hester, Jill Richardson, Tara Martin, Trey Martin, Lance Hooker and Dori Martin; 10 Great-Grandchildren, Meredith Slate, Margaret Slate, Allie DiMona, Matt DiMona, Baily Hester, Dayton Hester, Aubrey Robertson, Reese Richardson, Raegan Richardson and Knox Hooker.
