Myong Suk “Kim” Peterson, 53, of Northford passed away on Thursday July 7, 2011 surrounded by her family. Loving wife of almost 30 years to SGT. Kenneth James Peterson II (U.S. Army) of Northford; Myong leaves behind her daughters Angel Peterson of New Haven and Deseray Peterson of Northford, and her son Denny Peterson of Northford and his fiancée Julianna Baron of Stratford. She is also survived by her mother Sun Chong Chang and 5 sisters and 3 brothers, all of South Korea. She was predeceased by her father Kung Su Kim and her beloved dog Virginia. Myong was employed as a bookkeeper for Nature’s Way Health Foods in Stratford. A die-hard fan of the New York Yankees and Clay Aiken, Myong will be missed by all her family, friends and her cats Tommy, Bean and Oreo. The Peterson family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Daniel Morganstern and the nursing staff of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute at Faulkner Hospital.
