Muriel Patricia Brock, nee French, 86, of O’Fallon, IL, born June 25, 1931 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada passed away on July 10, 2017 in St. Louis, MO. Muriel was an active member of St. George’s Episcopal Church in Belleville, IL. Her hobbies included sewing, crossword puzzles, and collecting dolls and miniatures. Muriel was proud of her Canadian heritage. She was an avid naturist and loved to go bird watching. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Philip G. and Muriel French, nee Jamieson; husband, J. William Brock; and sister, Phyllis Rumley. She is survived by her children, Sarah Jane (Steven) Bender of New Baden, IL, Martha (Michael) Jackson of LaGrange IL, and Arthur P. (Nancy) Brock of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Katherine Mason, Christopher Jackson and fiancée Aisling O’Laoire, Alexander Jackson, Wesley (Heather) Brock, Philip (Jodi) Brock, Jamieson Brock; and a great-grandchild, Audrey Mason.
