Mrs. Muriel M. Antworth, age 81, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Herbert Antworth, passed away on Tuesday, February 03, 2009 in Milford Hospital. Daughter of the late James and Evelyn Hellett Shaw, she was born on August 8, 1927 in Bridgewater, ME. Muriel was an assembler for the former Robert Shaw Controls. She enjoyed reading, loved a good cross word puzzle, and taking long walks. Her passion was photography, taking pictures of her family, the seasons, and her cats. She was a wonderful person and will be sadly missed. Survivors include a devoted son, James D. Brownley Jr. and his wife Patricia Riegert and Douglas Brown, all of Milford, and two sisters, Mary Lou Cronkite and Anna Marie Larrabee, both from Maine. She was predeceased by her brothers, James, Charles, Floyd, Merlin, Edwin, and Ora Shaw and her sisters, Nancy Jessie Stuart, Betty Jane Shaw, and Audrey Frost. Family and friends may gather on Friday, February 6, 2009 from 2 to 3 p.m.
