Mrs. Mary Louise Summerville known as “Granny Smith Apples”, daughter of Lewis and Christine Mitchell was born on September 3, 1937 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She confessed a hope in Christ, at an early age.
Mary was united in Holy Matrimony to Curtis Summerville and to this union came Francine Claypool they bore one child Denise Summerville.
Mary and family moved to Indianapolis, Indiana where she remained loyal and faithful to God. Mary would sing until her heart’s content, humming her favorite hymns.
Mary was dedicated worker for Wishard Hospital for over 9 years and Indiana University Hospital for 10 years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend to those in need. Mary didn’t take no mess and she always had her 2 guns in reach.
