Born in Chicago, Illinois to the late Ottavio Columbani and Elisa Batti, Maria passed away peacefully in Oakland. Beloved wife of the late Oreste Azzari, she is survived by her son, Joseph Azzari, a sister and brother in Italy, and many nieces and nephews, also in Italy.
She was a proud member of the Italian Catholic Federation and longtime parishioner of St. Philip Neri.
