Yvonne W. Johnson, age 75 died in Houston, TX on Monday, July 19, 2010 at Grace Care Center of Cypress. Born in Convent, LA and living most of her life in New Orleans, LA, she was the daughter of the late Norbert F. and Regina D. Woodfork, Sr. She was the wife of the late Arnold Joseph Johnson, Sr., who passed away on July 23, 1966. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Yvonne was loved by many family members and friends. She is survived by one son, Anthony (Arnold) Johnson, and six daughters Sharone J. Durand, Aleta J. Rhone, Charlotte J. Allen, Tammy J. Simmons, Kim J. Basquine and Marguerite S. Trask, 19 grand children, and 24 great grand children. She is also leaving behind three siblings, Madeline W. Woodland, Dianna W. Fredricks, and Ursula Lyons, a host of nieces and nephews, in-laws and other family members.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one child, Deidra Johnson, one great grandchild, Royale’ Lee, four siblings, Inez Woodfork, Naomi W. Raphell, Joyce W. Dusuau and Norbert F. Woodfork, Jr.
