Mrs. Valerine H. Edmonds age 93 formerly of Fayette, Al. passed away Monday December 24, 2012, at the Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham.
Mrs. Edmonds was born in Fayette County the daughter of the late K. L. Harkness and Lula Aldridge Harkness. She was a member of the Fayette Church of Christ and formerly worked many years as a waitress. She also worked at the Fayette Cotton Mill and retired from the Fayette Nursing Home.
She survived by her son: Glen (Janie) Edmonds of McCalla; 2 grandsons, David and Russell Edmonds; 2 granddaughters, Lisa Edmonds, and Jessica Fullerton; 2 great grandsons, Eric Campbell, and Zackery Edmonds; 3 great granddaughters, Nickie Campbell, Autum Edmonds, and Libby Fullerton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Edmonds and 9 brothers, Homer, Fletcher, Wilburn, Lonzo, John L., Rayford, Raynard, Fred, and Boss Harkness.
