Shirley Hernandez Bonie was called to her eternal home on Monday, January 4, 2010 at the age of 83. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years Melvin Charles Bonie, Sr. Loving mother of Melvin Charles Bonie, Jr. (Kathleen), Trudy Bonie Agnelly (Paul) and Pamela Bonie Williams (Danny). Cherished grandmother (Granny) of Kurt, Lisa and Danny, Jr. Also great-grandmother (G.G.) of Anna-Jane, Hannah, Emily, Lara, Maya and Arda. Daughter of the late Irene Waguespack Hernandez and Joseph Manuel Hernandez. Sister of the late Elvina Gebbia. Also survived by many wonderful friends and family. The family would like to offer sincere gratitude to the nurses, aides and staff of Waldon Health Center for their unending love and care and Harmony Hospice for their care over the last few months.
