Rena Mae Pagani Demma departed this life on March 16, 2010 at 5:05 p.m. in Lafayette, Louisiana. Beloved wife of the late Philip Joseph Demma. She is survived by her loving daughters, Marcia Ann Demma and Paula Demma Maley, and her thoughtful son-in-law, Steve Maley. Proud grandmother of Colleen Mackenzie Maley and Ellen Marcia Maley. Sister of John N. Pagani, Jr. Devoted friend of Ernest Hampton. Aunt Rena will be missed by a host of nieces and nephews who brightened her life. Rena was born in New Orleans to the late John and Marie Pagani on September 26, 1933. A lifelong resident of the New Orleans area, she attended St. Rose De Lima School and graduated from St. Joseph Academy. The family wishes to thank Hospice of Acadiana, the nursing staff of Lafayette General Medical Center and Sandy Irwin for their kind and gentle care.
