Patsy Scott Hawkins, age 68, of Lanett, Alabama passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022 at the EAMC Lanier Hospital in Valley, Alabama.
Mrs. Hawkins was born in Lafayette, Alabama on October 13, 1953 to the late Harvey Scott and Virginia Scott.
Patsy was a familiar face for many people at the Spectrum Gas Station where she worked in Huguley, Alabama for approximately 20 years. She also worked in the Carter-Lanier Textile Mills and was later the office manager at R.F.M.
She was a very family oriented lady and held a special love for her grandchildren and her nieces and nephews. She was an animal lover and loved her pet dogs. She and Allen enjoyed riding their Harley Davidson Motorcycles together. Patsy was an avid University of Alabama football fan and she loved visiting the Great Smoky Mountains.
Patsy was a very giving and community focused person who helped a countless number of people over the years through her charitable giving.
She is survived by her husband Allen Hawkins, sister, Pam Brown (Jimmy), grandchildren, Amy Hadaway, A.J. Hadaway, aunt, Agnes Hendrix, several nieces and nephews.
