Mildred “Millie” Pavur Hattier was called home to eternal life on Sunday March 28, 2010 at the age of 74 years. She was born on February 17, 1936 and was a resident of Slidell, La. but was a lifelong resident of New Orleans until 2005. Daughter of the late Joseph Pavur and Anna Pavur. She was the sister of Mary-Ann Moffet, Carol and Lawrence Pavur and the late James, Joseph and Edward Pavur. She is survived by her loving husband Lawrence Hattier, and her three sons Lawrence Jr, Daryl and David. She was mother-in-law to Shannon, Chara and Carla Hattier. She is also survived by her grandchildren Ethan James and Brayden Patrick Hattier as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Millie will be remembered as a selfless person and a truly devoted catholic. She was, and will continue to be a guiding light for everyone who knew her. She adored her family and always ensured that her children learned to laugh, smile and find comfort in faith. Though at this time she is with the lord her family will always remember how blessed they were to have her as a loving wife and mother.
