Mrs. Long was born July 31, 1925 in North Walpole, NH daughter of the late John J. and Mary F. (Healy) Gallagher. Mary was raised in North Walpole, NH / Bellows Falls, VT area and was a graduate of Bellows Falls High School class of 1943 and received her degree as a Registered Nurse from the Burbank Hospital School of Nursing in Fitchburg, MA class of 1946.
She is survived by one son, John E. Long; five daughters, Kathleen Long Tobin, Patricia Long Dodge, Janet Long West, Suzanne Long Niles and Margaret Long Plekan; eleven grandchildren; four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
