Mrs. Jujuana Renee Leakes-Buggs was born on August 2, 1973, in Indianapolis, Indiana. The daughter of Jacqueline Hassell and Jesse Leakes, she was raised with the help of her stepfather, Earl Hassell.
Jujuana attended Arsenal Technical High School where she received her higher education diploma and completed college courses. Jujuana worked at LaRue Carter Hospital for over ten years.
Jujuana, also known as “Juju”, was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who was endowed with a beautiful and caring spirit. She was a friendly person who would help out any soul she felt that she could. She was a big advocate and speaker on HIV/AIDS Awareness.
Jujuana Buggs departed from this world early on March 12, 2021, at the young age of forty-seven years seven months and eleven days. She was preceded in death by her father, stepfather, aunt, uncle, and grandmother.
