Mrs. Helen Martha Buchanan Hawkins 81 of Highland House Retirement Center died Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
Born November 14, 1928, in Lee County, to the late Hubert F. and Irene Thomas Buchanan, Helen work for Hamilton Beach for over 34 years in the Field Department and worked for Rose’s Store for 9 years and Member of Grace Methodist Church and preceded in death by her loving son George Wilton Hawkins.
Survived by her loving family, Daughter Maxine Vislar (Husband Mike) of Hope Mills
Three Sons, Darryl F. Hawkins (wife Lisa) of Yadkinville NC; David A. Hawkins of (wife Kim) of Mocksville NC; Paul T. Hawkins (wife Heather) of Clinton NC; 17, Grandchildren and 5, Great-Grandchildren.
