Mrs. McKenzie was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Leo McKenzie, Sr. She is survived by two sons, Mr. Leo McKenzie, Jr. and Mr. Carver L. McKenzie of Sanford; four daughters, Mrs. Doris M. Watson, Mrs. Loscie M. Watson of Sanford, Mrs. Carolyn M. Bynum of Goldston, and Dr. Kathy E. McKenzie-Mitiku of Winston-Salem; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two honorary daughters, Alberta McKenzie and Sarah Stevenson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
