Deborah J. Smith, 60, of Quakertown died from injuries received in a motorcycle accident on Monday Oct. 16 in Temple University Hospital, Phila. She was the wife of Charles W. Smith. Born in Abington, she was a daughter of Elizabeth (Hare) Navarro of Perkasie and the late William Gledhill. She was a 1974 graduate of William Tennett High School and was working as a customer service representative at Giant, Quaker Village store, Quakertown. Previously, she worked for over 30 years for American Legion Post 242, Quakertown and at the Skyline Tavern, Chalfont. She was a member of the Auxiliary to Post 242 American Legion, Quakertown. Surviving with her husband and mother are her daughters, Tina Marie Parker of Quakertown, Elizabeth Ann Parker of N. Wales, Christa Lauren Amen, husband Kurt and Shannon Colleen Smith, all of Quakertown; grandchildren Hailli & Jacob Diamond; brother Carl Messina; sister Shirley Ely; step-father Albert Navarro.
