A Brief Sketch Of Life
Arelillian Johnson, the daughter of late William and Ethel Mae Armstrong was born October 9, 1930 in Turrell, Arkansas. She was a quiet giant, a devout prayer warrior, and a phenomenal woman.
Arelillian was united in holy matrimony to Willie Lee Johnson in 1946. Their union was blessed with twelve children. She had great aspirations for herself and her family. As Mama always said, “I moved my family to Indianapolis to give my children a better life.”
Arelillian had strong work ethic.
Arelillian was a God-Fearing woman and she taught her twelve children the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Arelillian’s hard work afforded her and her family the luxuries of life.
Arelillian departed this life at the age of 90.
She will be greatly missed by her devoted sons, Oliver (Early Mae) Johnson, Lemoris (Katie) Johnson, Lawrence Johnson, Michael (Sandra) Johnson, and Marcus Johnson; daughters, Gloria (Tyrone) Moore, Ethel Mae (Larry) Miller and Mavis (Richard) Perry; sisters, Almaree Porter, and Thelma Johnson; grandchildren, Pamela Scott, Latasha Johnson, Tiyaka Star Johnson, Larice Miller, Kymberlee Moore, Auspria Knowles, Arelillian Taylor, Rosemary Johnson, Rochelle Miller, Charita Johnson, Alivia Oliver, Lauren Mahomes, Latoya Hayes, Keya Conner, Arelillian Johnson, Jamyia Johnson, Brandy Johnson, Carter Lee Johnson, Marvin Johnson, Jerry Johnson, Bar Etta Johnson, Marlon Johnson, Timothy Johnson, Larry Johnson Jr., Lee Morris Johnson Jr., Ramirez Johnson, Lamaze Johnson, Robert Tyrone Moore Jr., Lawrence Johnson Jr., Sharif Johnson, Michael Johnson II, Richard Henry Perry II, Mario Johnson, Randy Johnson Jr., Marcus Johnson Jr., Jaylen Geeter, Javon Johnson, and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
