Mrs. Agnes B. Brewington, age 72 of 2820 Academy Street, Sanford, N.C. passed on Sunday, April 25, 2010 at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill, N.C.
Agnes dedicated her life to Jehovah God on October 3l, 1975 and served faithfully as a mentor to the Bethelites at the East Harlem Congregation in New York and as a regular pioneer in the East Sanford Congregation in North Carolina.
Agnes enjoyed sharing her life experience with others and displayed this by becoming a social worker and going further by giving herself and opening up her home by becoming a Foster Mother for the Children’s Aid Society.
Agnes leaves to affectionately cherish her memory her beloved husband of 52 years; a daughter, Mariann Brewington (Macgehry “Al” Allen); three grandchildren; one great grandchild; five sisters-in-law; five brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
