Willie Brinkley Jr. the Second child of the late Willie Brinkley Sr. and Annie Brinkley was born on November 27, 1959 in Queens, New York. He departed this life on June 1, 2017.
Willie grew up in Queens, New York and attended John Adams High School. He moved to Mobile, Alabama during his senior year and graduated from L. B. Williamson High School. Upon Graduation he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. He was stationed at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, California. He was an avid boxing fan. He joined the Marine Corps Boxing team and competed all along the west coast and winning the 1978 Las Vegas Golden Gloves.
While living in Southern California he married Sheila Brown and they had two children Tobias and Toneia. Willie moved his family back to the east coast, ultimately settling and raising his family, with Shelia in Atlanta, GA.
Willie was preceded in death by his parents Willie Brinkley Sr. and Annie Brinkley, Grandparents Andrew James Hampton and Hattie Hampton. He is survived by children, Tobias T. Brinkley (Jennifer) and Toneia D. Brinkley; grandchildren Jalen, Tobias, Jaxon, and Jaese; brothers Wilfred, Jeffery, and Kendrick and many nieces, nephews and cousins
