Mr. William W. Ahrens, Age 68, of Maysville, Ky. Formerly of Vanceburg, Ky.
Mr. Ahrens was born in Cincinnati, Ohio July 14, 1945 to the late Walter J. and Jeannette Seibel Ahrens. Bill was a veteran of the United States Army from which he retired and so proudly served his country. Was a Chief Warrant Officer where he was a helicopter pilot. Was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post 5438 Monte Lewis Stamm in Vanceburg, Ky. Also was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles # 1564 in Maysville, Ky. Was a member of the Disbled American Veterans Texas Chapter 187, Was a Life Member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart.
Bill was also a self-employed businessman in Vanceburg as an accountant with the Vanceburg Tax & Accounting LLC. Also a lifetime member of the Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association.
Surviving is a daughter- Dori Macottoce of Cincinnati, Ohio
One son- Dale Wood of Cincinnati, Ohio
A step-son- Donnie (Cara) Ahrens of Houston, Texas
3-grandchildren and one- great-granddaughter
several friends and neighbors will also mourn his passing.
