William L. Huber, Jr., age 79, was called to join our Lord on Friday, February 12, 2010 at Oschsner Foundation Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Barbara Boesch Huber of 25 years. He was born and raised in New Orleans, LA, graduated from St. Aloysius High School and has resided in Slidell, LA for the past 23 years. He is survived by his children Mark Huber (Liz), Lisa Waite (Mark), Regina Moesta (Jack); step-children, Ralph Clary, Jr., Keith Clary (Tammy), Cheryl Clary, Mark Clary (Sheila); 15 grandchildren and 13 great-children. He will also be truly missed by many dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Huber, Sr. and Edna Hoelzel Huber and his sister, Shirley Huber Hodgins. Mr. Huber served our country in the U.S. Army from 1951-1953 during the Korean Conflict. Bill was known for his great cooking from which he always happily passed on recipes and advice. More so, he will be remembered for his love of the New Orleans Saints. He was a season ticket holder from their inception in 1967 and was elated to see his team win the Super Bowl World Championship just a few days ago. He absolutely walked into heaven’s gate with a Who Dat chant and shared the experience with his dear friends that had previously lived the same dream.
