Vijay Anand Hassan Nagendra of New Orleans lost his 6 year battle with brain cancer at the age of 17 on October 5, 2009 at his home. Beloved as a son, brother and friend, he is survived by his parents, Mary B. and H.V Nagendra, brother Nikhil and sister Uma. He is also survived by his grandmother Christine Byrnes and her family from Ethel, LA.
