To know him was to love him! He had a light that shined so bright and an infectious smile that could warm the hearts of the young and old. On Friday, April 2, 2021, God sent his angels to bring Steven to rest and sleep in
the bosom of his arms. Steven Lamar Vaughters was born on June 11, 1988 in Lexington, NC to Morris Jerome Vaughters and Jackie Elaine Vaughters.
He attended Central High School. Steven worked for the Lexington Housing Authority as the Maintenance Supervisor.
He leaves to cherish his devoted wife, Ashley Vaughters; “The apple of his eye,” his daughter, Yasmine Vaughters; his father; Morris Jerome (Gloria) Vaughters of Winston Salem, NC, his mother; Jackie Vaughters of Lexington, NC; his Sister Michelle Davis of Rural Hall, NC; his brother, Morris Vaughters aka Rocky (Tiffany) Vaughters of Raleigh, NC, four nieces; one nephew; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and close family friends.
