Richard “Dick” Baker Boardman, age 85, longtime resident of Milford and beloved husband to Barbara Striby Boardman, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Milford Hospital. Born on November 19, 1926 in Meriden, he was the son of the late Walter and Hazel Baker Boardman. Prior to his retirement, he was a systems analyst for Emerson’s, formerly US Electrical Motors. Dick was an avid boater and belonged to the Power Squadron in Milford. He also enjoyed photography and was a member of the Milford Camera Club.
In addition to his wife, Barbara, he is survived by two daughters, Karen Kendall and her husband John and Janet Boardman; two cherished granddaughters, Beth Melillo and her husband John and Shana Boardman and his precious great grandson Jason Melillo.
