Lloyd “Bumps” Comeaux
Lloyd “Bumps” Comeaux passed away peacefully at his residence in Katy, Texas on Saturday, July 10, 2010. Beloved husband of Lois Scheffler Comeaux, son of the late Elliott Louis Comeaux and Oneida Mire Comeaux. Preceded in death by brothers Elliott, Jr. and Gerald Comeaux, and sisters Ida Mae McDonald and Estelle Comeaux. He is survived by a brother Lynn Comeaux, Sr. and a sister, Amanda Dorothy Comeaux. He leaves behind three children, Robert Comeaux (Elaine), Cynthia Pickens (Timothy) and Suzanne Gunther(Brian), six grandchildren, Cory Soto, Brad Comeaux, Chris Pickens, Michelle Pickens, Derek Gunther and Kathryn Gunther, step grandchildren William, Erin and Benjamin Courville, and a great granddaughter, Cruz Soto. Mr. Comeaux was a native of New Orleans and a current resident of Katy Texas. He retired from Avondale Shipyards, and was a member of the “Old Baseball Group”, a club of ex- baseball players.
