Lester Paul Bourgeois, a veteran of the U.S. Army who proudly served his country during WWII passed away on Monday, September 28, 2009 at the age of 88. He was the beloved brother of Florieta Bourgeois Karney and the late Joseph B. Bourgeois, Jr. Lester was affectionately called “Uncle” by his nieces and nephews. Loving uncle of Pat Bourgeois, Diane Courouleau (Johnny), Bobby Major and Charles Karney (Leigh). Six grandnephews, Kirk Major (Tonya), Jeffrey Courouleau, Zachary White (Whitney), Trevor Courouleau, Luke Barthel and Jeauhn Karney. Two grandnieces, Tammy Haupt (Mark) and Erin Campbell (Matt). One great-grandnephew, Joshua Haupt and two great-grandnieces, Megan Campbell and Kara Campbell. Preceeded in death by his parents, Joseph B. Bourgeois, Sr. and Amelia Hosch Bourgeois; brother, Joseph B Bourgeois, Jr.; nephew, Edgar J. Major, III; and great-grandnephew, Edgar J. Major, IV.
