Joseph Muniz, Sr., passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2009. He was the son of the late Anthony Muniz and Ella Ferrer. He was the beloved husband of Eunice Rita Schmitt for 63 years and surrogate father of Janice Schmitt Billings. He is survived by by his three sons, Joseph, Jr., (Charlotte), Wayne David, and Barry Anthony. Joseph was blessed with five grandchildren, Melissa Carollo (Dominick, Jr.), Ginger Jackson (Reginald, Jr.) , Stephanie Nolan (Doug), Kyle Noel (Lori), Brittany Boudreaux (Bret), 14 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews and family.
